Hemostatic Bandages for Animals

The Qwick-AID Multi-Use Hemostatic Bandage is an all natural composite textile. Its patent pending technology has many effective applications for treating operative and post-operative animal wounds of all sizes.

Qwick-AID's primary use is for hemostatic applications. The bandage stops vascular and capillary bleeding in seconds. The unique, specially formulated first layer assures good hemostatic effect while the second layer evacuates discharge and bacteria from the wound.

Qwick-AID Bandages will not stick to a wound, will not create a hothouse effect, and only require re-moisturization with water to be an effective dressing for up to 3 days. Qwick-AID Bandages have been used in trauma and surgical procedures in a major zoo medical center in treating Asian elephants, zebras, and giant tortoises. They have reported a great time and cost savings vs. the foams, gauze and wrappings currently in use.

Qwick-AID Multi-Use Hemostatic Bandages for Animals come in 2 sizes, a convenient 2" by 4" dressing and a large 7 1/2" by 9 1/5" sheet, which can be cut to easily fit different wound sizes and shapes.
